Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovelies over at The Broke and the Bookish
Welcome back to another Top Ten Tuesday post! I do these posts pretty infrequently but today seemed like a good TTT day so... here we are! I'm getting a little crazy today and I'm only listing five things (I KnOW I'm suCH a ReBeL.)
Today's topic is:
"Top Ten Things that will make me instantly want to NOT read a book."
Without any further ado let's get into the list!

Reviewers are saying the book is problematic
This is my number one no no. I'm not someone who needs to "read and find out for myself." There are so many good books out there and I don't have time to read discriminatory or harmful writing just for the hell of it.
How unique a book sounds is super important to me when I'm adding books to my tbr. If the premise of the book is similar to something I've read before then I'm wayyyyyyyy less likely to pick it up.
Okay, okay, I'll admit. This isn't ALWAYS a turn-off for me. However, most dystopian's have similar premises (which isn't always my favorite thing in the world.)
*cough* REQUIEM *cough*
How a series ends is huge for me and if a large majority are saying that they absolutely hated the series finale... well... bye bye books.
I don't have anyone in particular in mind but how an author treats their readers will make me want to read (or not read) their book. If an author is a complete dirt-bag then that's a huge turn-off for me as a reader.
Do you agree with any of these?
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!
